Richard is the founder and Managing Director of Complete Fire Design (CFD), established in 2003. With a solid background in structural and fire engineering, he has successfully led fire safety projects across Australia, including significant work for government clients in healthcare, education, transport, and public infrastructure.

Under his leadership, CFD has become a successful provider of Customised Fire Engineering Solutions, Performance Solutions, Fire Safety Audits & Inspections, and Designs & Specifications services for the commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and oil & gas sectors. Richard collaborates closely with building consultants, project managers, and contractors to deliver code-compliant, practical fire safety solutions that prioritise client needs.

He holds a Bachelor’s of Engineering (Honours) and a Master’s of Engineering in Fire Safety. As a Chartered Professional Engineer registered on the National Engineering Register, Richard is also recognised as an APEC Engineer and an International Professional Engineer (Australia).

With over 30 years of experience, Richard has been instrumental in providing effective fire safety solutions across Western Australia and beyond, blending technical expertise with a dedication to excellence.
