For our Oil & Gas projects we adopt a risk based approach through assessment of the hydrocarbon process and storage risk. This may start with a Codes & Standards Review, a Fire, Explosion and Toxic Gas Dispersion Consequence Analysis or Quantitative Risk Assessment to determine active and passive protection system requirements. Based on this assessment, system and area design can be undertaken to develop ‘tailor made’ protection layers to mitigate the risk of an unwanted fire or explosion on your site. This may include Fire & Gas Mapping Activities to provide an economical and efficient Fire & Gas Detection layout or hydraulic analysis to develop a Fire Water system for the protection and cooling of equipment and to maintain tenability for escape routes.
